Eric McLendon is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clear National Title, a 100% Black-owned, certified MBE title insurance agency specializing in complex commercial real estate, affordable housing, civic infrastructure, and public-sector transactions nationwide.

Since founding Clear in 2014, Eric has led the firm through participation in over $20 billion in real estate transactions. Under his leadership, Clear has become a trusted title partner for developers, lenders, law firms, and public agencies on projects that require precision, coordination, and disciplined execution.

Eric is known for combining institutional rigor with hands-on responsiveness, bringing clarity and confidence to transactions that demand early issue identification, transparent communication, and proactive problem-solving.

Eric’s experience spans a broad range of asset classes and transaction types, including:

  • Large-scale commercial and mixed-use development

Outside of his professional work, Eric is actively involved in his community and serves on the board of Downtown Little League. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, golfing, and traveling. Eric is also the proud owner of two dogs, Wrigley and Rizzo, who are a constant reminder of balance, presence, and life beyond the office.
